On the topic of Regeneration  The “David Tennant/Matt Smith” transition is what I imagined nerds in the 80’s felt about the “Tom Baker/Peter Davison” transition. Doctor’s 10 & 11 emulate the characters portrayed by 4 & 5 respectively. I also find that Smith and Davison share a remarkable resemblance.
